![]() In a recent trip to Istanbul, Turkey to visit the Iranian Bible College you can see our team from the USA trying to share the Love of Christ with two local businessmen at a cafe along the Black Sea. After a few minutes of going back and forth through an interpreter it was obvious that someone who understands the Muslim faith needed to be doing the talking, so the President and a couple of students from the Bible College stepped in and did a more effective job. This illustrated to all of us the strategic nature and importance of partnering with the nationals to get the job done. Facilitators International, in cooperation with the Mission Committee of the World Evangelical Alliance, has identified key mission training centers and provides scholarships to those key future missionaries in the developing world. Founded in 2004, Facilitators International is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit ministry. We rely on contributing partners from American churches to spread the Gospel to many areas closed to missionaries from the West. We feel that a biblically trained church leader in their own country can accomplish the task of spreading the gospel to their people more effectively than a foreign missionary and at a fraction of the cost. |
